What's Happening?

Our next regular Membership Meeting is the third Wednesday of each month at 7 PM  in the Legion Hall.

The American Legion Driving Range could use your help.  This is an excellent fund raiser for the Post and your help would be appreciated.  They need help picking up and selling balls.  It only requires 2-4 hours per month.  Volunteers at the range can hit balls for free.  Call Ralph Corso at 352-751-1121.  Please mention that you are a member of the Sons of the American Legion. 

Pizza night has been changed to Saturday night. The hours have been changed to 5:00-8:00. Thursday pizza will be served during shuffleboard tournaments. Those hours will be 5:00-8:00 as well. As in the past, carry-out will not be available. We would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support.

Our members donated 2,324 hours of community service in 2008-2009.  During the same period 2,205 hours of Legion service were donated.  This is just about double the numbers from last year.
